What are the must-visit places during a 5-day Bhutan tour?
Most 5-day Bhutan tours cover the capital city, Thimphu, the cultural hub of Paro with the famous Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest), and Punakha with its stunning Punakha Dzong. These destinations showcase Bhutan's rich cultural heritage and natural beauty.
How do I get to Bhutan for my 5-day tour?
Bhutan has a limited number of entry points, and most travelers fly into Paro International Airport. You will need to book your tour through a Bhutanese tour operator, as all travelers (except Indian nationals) are required to have a pre-arranged tour package to enter Bhutan.
Is a visa required for Bhutan?
Yes, a visa is required to enter Bhutan. However, unlike many other countries, Bhutan does not issue individual visas. Instead, you must book a tour package with a Bhutanese tour operator, and they will process a visa for you.
Can I customize my 5-day Bhutan tour itinerary?
Yes, most tour operators offer some level of customization to suit your preferences and interests. You can discuss your preferences with your tour operator to include specific activities or places in your itinerary.
